IHU26S067417. GAY PD. HEN. GRANDDAUGHTER OF STARBOY & MAJOR

The best One Loft blood crossed onto Major — a cock who scored from Lisbon at 2,811km

Maurice O’Donnell’s own words on this card: "Here you have the best extreme long distance family of pigeons in the world, Military Rogala, crossed with the best OLR pigeons. Results don’t lie!!!" The sire is a brother to Miss Maurice; the dam is a daughter of "Major", described on the card as the best long distance cock in the world, who scored from Lisbon at 2,811km and was sold to the Far East.

From the O’Donnell card: Brother to Miss Maurice over a daughter of Major, who scored from Lisbon at 2,811km

The Sire — IHU20-068518

Brother to Miss Maurice · half-sibling of 53rd Open Pattaya International OLR

A brother to Miss Maurice, and a half-sibling of 53rd Open in the Pattaya International OLR and of a winner of the team prize there.

Miss Maurice (IHU19-S-014359) won the Knockout in the South Africa Million Dollar Race 2020, was best pigeon over five Hotspots and the Final combined, won over $47,500, and was purchased by Lendos Family Lofts in the USA for $70,000. She is now mother and grandmother to winning pigeons.

Star Boy (B16-6037050) — the O’Donnell foundation cock, father to Miss Maurice (SAMDPR 2020 Knockout Winner), Miss Debbie (1st Place, Pattaya International One Loft Race, 5,805 pigeons over 530km — the biggest One Loft race in the world) and Sapsan (co-winner, Algarve Golden Race). He now stands at Ganus Family Lofts in the USA.

In short: the sire line is the O’Donnell foundation, and it is the reason this family sells worldwide.

The Dam — PL20-1143

Daughter of Major · Military Rogala, Poland

A direct daughter of "Major" (PL15-3937) — the world famous marathon cock who scored from Lisbon at 2,811km and was sold to the Far East. Major’s own mother scored from LaHarve at 1,620km.

Her dam PL16-3371 carries two more marathon hens: one grandmother scored from Barcelona at 2,000km, the other scored from London at 1,600km.

THE FAMILY’S CURRENT FORM

The O’Donnell card adds two current results for the family: a double grandson of Star Boy won the MNFC from Isigny-sur-Mer against 4,200+ birds for the Willott Partnership, and a grandchild bred the 1st Open winner of the Midlands National from France for Kev Parsons. The Pattaya International has been won out of this family against 13,000 birds.

BREEDING CHARACTER

Two families that have almost nothing in common. One side is bred and proven for One Loft speed at 500km; the other is bred for distances — 2,811km from Lisbon — that most lofts in Europe never attempt. Youngsters from this pairing carry no inbreeding load at all, and the pedigree gives the buyer a genuine choice of direction.

IHU26-067417 is a granddaughter of Star Boy out of a daughter of Major, bred by Maurice O’Donnell. Behind it: a SAMDPR Knockout Winner, a Pattaya International winner, an Algarve Golden Race co-winner and Barcelona National
