IHU26S067410. BLUE PD WF. COCK. GRANDSON OF STARBOY & MARPLE BLOODLINES

The grandsire of this bird is "Maurice Marple 272" (AU-2020-GFL-272), and his own pedigree is the story: his father is Marple, winner of the Victoria Falls One Loft Race over 387 miles with a 54-minute lead, and his mother is Miss Maurice herself. Maurice Marple was purchased by Mike Ganus and now breeds at O’Donnell Lofts. The dam is a sister to Miss Maurice. Maurice’s note: "a world class bred pigeon, very inbred to Star Boy."

From the O’Donnell card: Son of Maurice Marple — Marple × Miss Maurice — over a sister to Miss Maurice

The Sire — IHU23-090011

Son of Maurice Marple 272 · out of a sister to Miss Maurice

A son of "Maurice Marple 272", the cock bred from Marple × Miss Maurice and purchased by Mike Ganus in the USA. His mother is a sister to Miss Maurice — so the sire is himself linebred to the family on both sides. Marple won the Victoria Falls One Loft Race, 387 miles, with a 54-minute lead, a margin almost unheard of in a One Loft final.

Miss Maurice (IHU19-S-014359) won the Knockout in the South Africa Million Dollar Race 2020, was best pigeon over five Hotspots and the Final combined, won over $47,500, and was purchased by Lendos Family Lofts in the USA for $70,000. She is now mother and grandmother to winning pigeons.

In short: the sire line is the O’Donnell foundation, and it is the reason this family sells worldwide.

Sister to Miss Maurice · a fantastic breeder in her own right

A sister to Miss Maurice, by Star Boy out of B16-6037045. The O’Donnell card marks her plainly as a "fantastic breeder" — she is the dam of several birds in this collection.

Star Boy (B16-6037050) — the O’Donnell foundation cock, father to Miss Maurice (SAMDPR 2020 Knockout Winner), Miss Debbie (1st Place, Pattaya International One Loft Race, 5,805 pigeons over 530km — the biggest One Loft race in the world) and Sapsan (co-winner, Algarve Golden Race). He now stands at Ganus Family Lofts in the USA.

THE FAMILY’S CURRENT FORM

The O’Donnell card adds two current results for the family: a double grandson of Star Boy won the MNFC from Isigny-sur-Mer against 4,200+ birds for the Willott Partnership, and a grandchild bred the 1st Open winner of the Midlands National from France for Kev Parsons. The Pattaya International has been won out of this family against 13,000 birds.

BREEDING CHARACTER

The most concentrated pedigree in the collection. Star Boy stands behind three of the four grandparents, and Miss Maurice herself is a great-grandparent rather than a sibling — the difference between owning a relative of the champion and owning her descendant. Marple’s Victoria Falls win is the one outcross, and it is a One Loft win in its own right.

SUMMARY

IHU26-067410 is a great-grandson of Miss Maurice and of Marple, winner of the Victoria Falls OLR, bred by Maurice O’Donnell. Behind it: a SAMDPR Knockout Winner, a Pattaya International winner, an Algarve Golden Race co-winner and Barcelona National Ace form.
