Maurice O’Donnell of Dungarvan, County Waterford, is widely recognised as one of Ireland’s most successful and respected one loft racing breeders. His pigeons have competed – and excelled – in many of the world's toughest international one loft races, including South Africa, Pattaya, Portugal, Mexico, and the USA.

A major breakthrough came when Maurice introduced the Van Ouwerkerk-Dekkers long-distance lines, famous for their Barcelona performances. From these genetics he crafted a resilient, intelligent, and durable family built specifically for the extreme conditions of modern one loft racing.

Miss Maurice – The South African Knock-Out Queen

Miss Maurice (IHU19 S 014359) became internationally famous after her outstanding performance in the South Africa Million Dollar Pigeon Race (SAMDPR). Her achievements include:

After the race, Miss Maurice was purchased by Mike Ganus and today is owned by Wes Lamons (Lamons Family Loft, USA), where she already breeds top performers, including prize-winning descendants in Mexico and Dubai.
