Description

100% Van Ouwerkerk / Dekkers, and both parents are out of top racers at that loft. Maurice’s note: "one of the best long distance lofts in Belgium in the international races, normally clocking between 20 and 30 in all the internationals, flying between 600 and 700 miles." This is the family Star Boy himself comes from.

From the O’Donnell card: 100% Van Ouwerkerk / Dekkers — both parents related to Star Boy and breeders of One Loft prize winners

The Sire — B16-6037058

Son of two top racers at Van Ouwerkerk / Dekkers

A son of two top racers whose card records 5th Provincial and 94th National St Vincent, 42nd, 61st and 82nd National Agen, 53rd National Narbonne and 84th National St Vincent. His sire B11-6330740 and dam B14-6178511 are both top racers at the loft.

In short: the sire line is the O’Donnell foundation, and it is the reason this family sells worldwide.

The Dam — B16-6037016

Also from two top racers · Pau Zeppelin and De Gewonde Barcelona lines

Also bred from two top racers at Van Ouwerkerk / Dekkers, and bred down the Pau Zeppelin and De Gewonde Barcelona lines. Her sire B12-6198298 is a top racer who scored from Marseille; her dam B11-6281668 is a top racing hen.

THE FAMILY’S CURRENT FORM

The O’Donnell card adds two current results for the family: a double grandson of Star Boy won the MNFC from Isigny-sur-Mer against 4,200+ birds for the Willott Partnership, and a grandchild bred the 1st Open winner of the Midlands National from France for Kev Parsons. The Pattaya International has been won out of this family against 13,000 birds.

BREEDING CHARACTER

Not a One Loft pedigree but the marathon family underneath one. Every bird named is a racer rather than a stock bird, and all four grandparents flew. For a buyer who wants the foundation Star Boy came from rather than Star Boy’s descendants, this is that pedigree.

IHU26-067374 is a pure Van Ouwerkerk / Dekkers international distance bird, bred by Maurice O’Donnell. Behind it: a SAMDPR Knockout Winner, a Pattaya International winner, an Algarve Golden Race co-winner and Barcelona National Ace form.
