A full brother to Gold Wing paired to a Sevilla Ace Bird — money-winning One Loft form on both sides
PIONEER LIBERTY × PIONEER ARABELLA
A full brother to Gold Wing paired to a Sevilla Ace Bird — money-winning One Loft form on both sides
TIER 1 · PAIRING DOSSIER The full analysis of what this pairing produces
One of the few matings in the loft where both parents come from birds that took prize money in international One Loft competition. The cock is a full brother to Gold Wing, 2nd Ace Pigeon in the 2023 Algarve Golden Race and winner of €25,000. The hen is a top One Loft racer in her own right — she completed the full Sevilla 2021 programme and finished 2nd Ace Bird after the 510km Final.
The families have nothing in common. Vandenabeele and Chadwick on the cock’s side, Flor Engels and Busschaert on the hen’s.
The Cock — GB24V28956 "Pioneer Liberty"
Blue · Stock Cock · Chadwick · Bred by Mike Chadwick
A son of Incredible II × Sarah, and a full brother to Gold Wing — 2nd Ace Pigeon in the 2023 Algarve Golden Race, winning €25,000, plus 2nd UK and 16th Open Hotspot 1 from 5,233 birds.
Incredible II (B20-4228463) — bred by F & J Vandenabeele. The same pairing produced 47th in the UK Premier Final 2023; Storm, 38th Open and 2nd UK in the 2024 Algarve Golden Race Final from an original entry of 7,182; and Hermes (30th) and Artemis (33rd) at Algarve in 2025. His sire Miracle Ace was 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB Long Distance; his dam Classic Pearl was 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB Long Distance 2020.
Sarah (GB22S56178) — bred by Gary Tomlinson, dam of all of the above. Her sire Hurricane won the Who Dares Wins OLR 2020 and £40,000; her dam Simply The Best was among the best racers in the Who Dares Wins OLR 2019.
In short: the same sire and dam have put birds in the money at Algarve in three consecutive years.
The Hen — GB20Z65471 "Pioneer Arabella"
Chequer White Flight · Flor Engels / Busschaert · Brother Syndicate
A top One Loft racer in the Sevilla programme, winter 2021: 1st Hotspot 2 at 200km, 75th Hotspot 3 at 240km, 29th in the Semi-Final at 320km, 24th in the Final at 510km, 2nd Ace Bird after the Final, and 84th in the Super Final at 620km.
Busshaert (NEHU15HAR1151) — her sire, and sire of the Derby Arona Car Winner semi-final, 1st Sevilla Hotspot 200km, 24th Sevilla Final 510km, 29th Semi-Final, 2nd Ace Bird and 84th Super Final.
Brother Syndicate (GB18V38865) — her dam, Flor Engels, 10th National MNFC 2018, and dam of the same list of Sevilla and Derby Arona results. Her sire Wade Bros Cock, an Andre Roodhooft blue, sired 10th National MNFC 2018 and 16th National MNFC 2019 and is a full brother to an Ace racer with 1st Fed from 890 and 990 birds. Her dam Super Hen (GB06C21495) of Flor Engels is dam of fifteen firsts and five 1st Feds.
In short: she is not related to a One Loft performer — she is the One Loft performer, and her parents bred the rest of the team around her.
